About The Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for activities related to establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Westinghouse Quality Management System, including Project Quality Plans and procedures. Responsibilities may include oversight of project activities such as design control, external providers, and construction.

You will report to the Quality Manager, and this is a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the Westinghouse Quality Management System, project quality plans, and procedures for AP1000 projects.
• Ensure project team training in requirements and procedures.
• Support AP1000 projects in collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and project management.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Promote nuclear safety culture and safety-conscious work environment.
• Use and promote Human Performance tools and organizational learning to ensure error-free performance.
• Communicate and implement quality assurance best practices through continuous improvement.
• Oversee activities, recommend solutions to quality problems, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage change, communicate with stakeholders, and support audits and inspections.
• Monitor quality metrics, analyze data, and report on quality performance.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent, preferably in engineering or technical field.
• 5+ years of nuclear quality assurance experience.
• Knowledge of nuclear QA regulations, codes, and standards such as ISO 9001, 19443, 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, and others.
