Senior Project Quality Engineer (Remote Eligible, U.S.)

Join to apply for the Senior Project Quality Engineer (Remote Eligible, U.S.) role at GE Vernova.

This position will lead quality assurance activities for GEH Advanced Nuclear projects, including interactions with customers, regulatory agencies, partners, and GEH Advanced Nuclear organizations to ensure project activities meet quality requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Perform quality activities for Advanced Nuclear projects to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and GEH internal requirements.
  2. Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and processes.
  3. Resolve quality concerns using the corrective action program, including causal analyses.
  4. Conduct project surveillances and internal/external audits for project oversight.
  5. Apply quality knowledge, best practices, lessons learned, and practical experience to solve complex problems.
  6. Develop and implement project quality control plans, procedures, and infrastructure.
  7. Represent GEH as the main contact for quality organizations, interface with customers, lead quality meetings, and represent the site.
  8. Provide training in quality-related activities.
  9. Lead project oversight activities, including surveillances, audits, root cause analyses, and non-conformance assessments.
  10. Review condition reports and KPI data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  11. Mentor team members in quality activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with at least 7 years of nuclear quality assurance experience, OR
  • High school diploma with at least 10 years of nuclear quality assurance experience.
Additional Information:

The preferred work location is at GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC, but highly qualified US-based remote candidates will be considered.

The role offers a salary range of $107,600 - $155,000, with potential bonuses and benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and more.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information and is contingent on obtaining necessary authorization.
