Job description

Our client, a nationally recognized and award-winning company in the health insurance vertical, has a contract opening for a Project / Program Manager.

They serve over 4 million customers and employ more than 5,000 dedicated staff members who provide innovative solutions to simplify the healthcare system, improve efficiency and outcomes, and reduce costs.

Location:

While the position is remote, you must reside in North Carolina or one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.

Contract Duration:

12 Months, with the possibility of contract-to-hire.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (where required). Alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Experience with SAI 360 compliance tool is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage or administer smaller programs or phases of larger programs to ensure activities align with objectives.
  • Assess needs and coordinate resources to enhance existing programs.
  • Monitor progress to meet goals, schedules, and benefits.
  • Document and present program results through reports, studies, presentations, and publications.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements as needed.
  • Manage budgets and control expenditures within allocated limits.
  • Handle vendor management and administer contracts to ensure service levels are met.
  • Pass a drug test and criminal background check to be eligible for contract employment.
