Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Solution Purchaser to support procurement and supply chain activities for complex customer projects from tendering through execution. You will source suppliers, negotiate, assess risks, and ensure timely delivery aligned with financial goals.

You will collaborate with Tender Managers, Project Managers, and Logistics teams to drive supplier performance and maximize project profitability, while maintaining strong cross-functional communication and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of procurement in a project-based environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to analyze risks and solve complex problems.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tenders & project development: define procurement needs from customer requirements; identify suppliers; lead RFIs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and negotiations; develop project budgets; identify procurement risks and mitigation strategies; collaborate to improve bid competitiveness and profitability; support supplier selection and KPI monitoring.
• Project execution: manage procurement through the project lifecycle; assess supplier criticality; support qualification and onboarding; negotiate changes and supplier claims; coordinate contracts and POs; monitor delivery, quality, cost, and schedule; work with logistics and project teams to ensure material delivery; resolve supplier issues; participate in lessons learned reviews.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and participate in project lessons learned reviews.
