Job summary

IMCS Group in Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced Procurement Contracts Analyst for a 12+ month engagement. The role acts as a technical liaison between TDEC and proposal development for bids, ensuring alignment with state procurement policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include drafting solicitations, guiding procurement in multiple methods (RFP, RFQ, RFIs), and providing strategic advice to agency staff to select proper procurement methods and execute strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 to 10 years of business, procurement, and/or contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and assists divisions in solicitation specifications based on internal and external sources of information.
• Possesses and demonstrates strong knowledge of policies, procedures and execution strategy for multiple solicitation methods including Request for Proposal, Request for Qualification, and Request for Information.
• Regularly represents and the division of Grants and Contracts while speaking with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides strategic advice and consultation to agency procurement and program staff to determine the proper methods of procurement as well as strategy development and execution of procurement activities.

Overview

This position is located in Nashville, TN. The position will serve as the technical liaison between TDEC and assisting in the development of proposals for bids while maintaining the interests of the State's Procurement policies and procedures. This position will administer procurement activities from development and implementation of the sourcing strategy through award of the contract, which includes identifying agency needs, drafting solicitations, aid in executing procurements and aid in the state evaluation. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple schedules. This position requires excellent project and time management capabilities.
