Job summary

Resolian seeks a Project Planner I to coordinate scientific projects from initiation through completion. Ideal for an early-career professional aiming to build a life sciences project-management career, acting as the link between clients, lab teams, finance, and operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, laboratory operations, research, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Responaibilities
Project Coordination & Execution
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of client projects from study initiation through project completion.
  • Prepare, track, and distribute project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and project updates.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to help ensure projects progress efficiently and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate timely study start-up and successful project execution.
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules, trackers, and project management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Client & Cross-Functional Support
  • Serve as a key point of coordination between laboratory operations, project management, finance, sales, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support the resolution of client requests, inquiries, and concerns by collaborating with internal teams to identify effective solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates to ensure transparency and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Assist with identifying project scope changes and coordinating Statement of Work (SOW) revisions with proposal and project management teams.
  • Partner with laboratory and finance teams to support accurate and timely client invoicing.
  • Help verify project completion status, pricing, and billing information within project management systems.
  • Maintain project records and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure project activities are conducted in accordance with company SOPs, quality standards, and established timelines.
  • Develop knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines, including GLP, GCP, OECD, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
  • Support compliance with departmental procedures, GMP practices, safety requirements, and biosafety protocols.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance project execution, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Skills, Education & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, laboratory operations, research, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a regulated laboratory, research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environment.
  • Familiarity with project management software and database systems.
  • Exposure to client-facing support, project coordination, or scientific operations.
  • Basic understanding of GLP, GCP, GMP, or other regulated environments.
