The Project Manager will facilitate and support Radiology projects across the East Baltimore campus, including The Johns Hopkins Hospital and School of Medicine, while providing backup support to Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging as needed. The position will serve as the departmental representative, coordinating and tracking maintenance activities, minor renovations, capital projects, departmental equipment and furniture procurement, access management, and departmental space planning and management.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with departmental leadership, clinical and research staff, facilities personnel, contractors, and maintenance service providers to ensure projects effectively support operational needs and are completed within scope, budget, and established timelines. The position will provide project management guidance, routine updates and recommendations to administrators and operational leaders regarding space requirements, project status, operational impacts, and other departmental needs. The Project Manager will also proactively identify project risks, coordinate stakeholders, monitor progress and deliverables, and facilitate timely resolution of issues to ensure successful project completion and alignment with departmental priorities.

Required Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree as outline below in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred. Candidates who possess equivalent advanced technical knowledge via an associate degree, relevant professional certifications, training in trades programs, vocational or technical school, partially completed coursework at a college/university, or apprenticeship sponsor organization will be considered.
  • Experience is to be in project management in a comparable position leading or supporting the delivery of construction projects.
  • Experience requirements may be flexible if a candidate holds a master’s degree and/or certifications or licenses such as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), LEED AP, Registered Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (P.E.), or other relevant professional certification or license
Salary Range:

Minimum 31.53/hour - Maximum 52.06/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
