Job summary

You will process customer requests, respond to inquiries, maintain tracking databases, and support the Equipment Management program at Kirtland AFB.

Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent, 2+ years in a materials role, forklift experience, ability to lift 75 lbs, and ability to obtain government security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in materials coordination, shipping/receiving, or inventory control.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
• Excellent data entry and database skills.

Responsibilities

• Expedites the flow of materials, parts and assemblies between sections or departments.
• Processes incoming customer requests and responds to inquiries and complaints.
• Maintains inventory control and updates equipment tracking databases.
• Supports the Equipment Management program at Kirtland AFB and ensures documentation is current.
• Trains personnel and handles routine reports and analysis.
• Performs base-wide equipment inventories and ensures stock balances are met.
• Interacts with higher headquarters on equipment questions and provides data-driven recommendations.
