Responsibilities

• Manage all project logistics from pre-project planning through close-out and post-install.
• Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules.
• Attend construction and project meetings.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to support client expectations and execution.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Designers, Field PMs, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, installers, GCs, designers, and trades.
• Identify issues, communicate changes, and manage schedule/scope impacts.
• Maintain accurate project information and clear communication across parties.
• Provide strong organization, follow-through, and responsiveness.

Job description

We’re hiring experienced Project Managers to join our team and work closely with our Sales/Account Management teams to successfully manage commercial furniture projects from start to finish.

The ideal person has 5+ years of experience in the commercial furniture dealer industry, a strong project management background and a sales-oriented, client-focused approach. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is based in Newport Beach, CA.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all project logistics from pre-project planning, throughout installation, completion and close-out, and after completion of the installations.
• Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules.
• Attend construction meetings and project meetings.
• Work closely with Account Managers throughout the project to support client expectations and successful project execution.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinators, Systems Designers, Field Project Managers, and other internal team members.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, installers, general contractors, designers, and other industry trades.
• Identify project issues, communicate changes, and proactively manage details that could impact schedule, scope, or installation.
• Maintain accurate project information and ensure details are communicated clearly across all parties.
• Provide a high level of organization, follow-through, and responsiveness throughout each project.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years minimum of commercial furniture dealer industry or related experience required.
• Strong understanding of the commercial furniture project process, from order through installation and closeout.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Strong client service and sales-oriented mindset.
• Expert skills in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• AutoCAD and 20/20 CAP experience are a plus.
