Furniture Project Manager

We’re looking for an organized and client-focused Furniture Project Manager to join our team at dancker. In this role, you’ll help lead the successful execution of furniture projects from kickoff through final walkthrough, coordinating closely with clients, architects, designers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving accurately, efficiently, and to specification. You’ll manage scope, schedules, field coordination, deliveries, installations, and punch lists while helping create a smooth, high-quality experience for our clients. How you’ll make an impact
  • Review all FFE items and coordinate project details with clients, architects, designers, and internal teams
  • Manage project scope and help ensure deliverables align with client expectations, schedule, and budget
  • Conduct project kickoffs and attend construction and project meetings in person or remotely
  • Develop and manage project schedules, milestone timelines, and key project activities
  • Coordinate field verification, deliveries, installations, and site access with vendors, contractors, and project partners
  • Review incoming product deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and quality
  • Monitor site conditions and job progress, proactively troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Work closely with electricians, data teams, tradespeople, vendors, and contractors to support successful installation
  • Coordinate client and end user product training as needed
  • Manage punch lists, final project walkthroughs, and follow‑up items through completion
  • Support placement and staging of accessory items as needed
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and project partners throughout the project lifecycle
What you’ll bring to this role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management, design, commercial office furniture, project management, or related field
  • Technical or professional training, or a two‑year degree, preferred
  • Strong organizational, follow‑through, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
  • Comfort reading and interpreting construction drawings, specification plans, and architectural layouts
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, architects, designers, vendors, contractors, and internal project teams
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed
