Russell Taylor Group is recruiting a Project Manager for the Bolton/Greater Manchester region. The role involves leading construction projects from inception to handover across commercial and industrial sectors, with project values ranging from £10M to £60M.

You’ll manage design meetings, coordinate labour, and ensure subcontractors follow plans to meet deadlines. Heritage, education refurbishments, and new builds are part of the pipeline, offering varied challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering new builds from inception to handover.
• Experience with conversions and refurbishments is advantageous.
• Strong awareness of planning procedures and tight site schedules.

My client is regional main contractor due to an increase in developments in the Northwest they are looking to increase their management team with a Project Manager. The Project Manager they are looking for will have proven experience working new builds, delivering said projects from inception through to completion and hand over. Their project values ranging from £10 million to £60million.

They have had an upturn in projects within conversions and refurbishments . So are looking for proven project delivering experience of these types of schemes. These projects are £16million to £19million with some with heritage some education, so any previous experience would be an advantage. As an Project Manager you will be aware of planning procedures and following tight site time schedules. You will be responsible for organising labour and ensuring all sub-contractors are following plans as to the programme and meeting deadlines as required.

You will be involved in the project from initial design stages so understanding of design and experience in chairing design meetings is essential for this no1 position. As a business they deliver a good variety of type of buildings within commercial and industrial new builds so a good overall contracting background is preferred. The successful Project Manager will have the highest quality standards and experience in delivering projects. With good worth ethic and client relations experience.
