Job summary

NAPOLEON MILLWORK CORP in New York is seeking an experienced Project Manager for woodworking to join our team full time.

You will read drawings, manage tools and materials, coordinate between departments, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality while maintaining safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working in a millwork/woodworking shop setting.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines with attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of inline assembly processes, systems, and tools.
• Good communicator and team player with initiative and reliability.
• Must be trustworthy with clean background and references.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and tracks all required tools, equipment, and hardware for each project.
• Communicates project status with other departments as work moves between stages.
• Oversees project progress to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
• Reads drawings and blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly.
• Supports team with troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Maintains attendance and punctuality; works well independently or in a team.

We are a high end commercial and residential millwork company and we are looking for an experienced project manager for woodworkingto join our team full time. Job requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Minimum 3 years working in a millwork/woodworking shop setting


• Gathers and tracks all required tools, equipment, and hardware throughout given project(s).


• Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and diagrams


• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and complete jobs with demanding deadlines while keeping great attention to detail.


• Maintains strong knowledge of in-line assembly processes, systems, and tools.


• Highly motivated and high level of initiative; confidence to work independently and with a team.


• Communicate with other departments clearly about project status when elements are completed/passed into next department.


• Strong record of reliable attendance and punctuality


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
