Location: Richmond, VA -3 days/week ON SITE is mandatory.

Must have:

Experience with leading a $1M+ project must be clearly bolded and explained.
Medicaid or health claims experience
PMP Certification: A current, active PMP cert must be uploaded with the submission. No exceptions.

Role Overview

This is a senior-level Project Manager role .You will be reporting to the PMO Director and managing multiple large and complex IT projects related to the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

Responsibilities:

Follow state and federal regulations and industry best practices.
Identify and propose business process improvements.
Independently manage projects under the PMO.
Work with internal staff, vendors, and external agencies like:
OAG (Office of Attorney General)
Provide input to the PMO Director on operations, staffing, contracts, and escalations.
