Job summary

Verdantas seeks a Project Engineer- Water/Wastewater in the Folsom, CA office to lead civil and water/wastewater planning and design tasks.

You will drive design projects, hydraulic modeling, and prepare graphics using AutoCAD and GIS, plus technical reports and memos. Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, CA PE or eligibility within 1 year, 4–7 years in Water/Wastewater, and GIS/AutoCAD/Civil3D experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE registration in California or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 4-7 years of experience in civil engineering focused on Water/Wastewater.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
• Wastewater/Storm Drain design experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Design projects across multiple disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks).
• Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flood analyses.
• Prepare figures, maps, and graphics using AutoCAD and GIS.
• Prepare technical reports and memoranda.
• Communicate effectively with staff engineers, PMs, and principal engineers.

We are seeking a Project Engineer- Water/Wastewater to join our team in the Folsom, CA office. In this role you will lead and support a variety of Civil and Water Wastewater resource planning and design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.)
• Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
• Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
• Prepare technical reports and memoranda
• Demonstrated communication skills to communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers in various communication formats

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering
• PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain registration within 1 year
• 4-7 years of experience in the civil engineering field, specifically on Water/Wastewater projects
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
• Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipeline and lift stations) desired
