Responsibilities
  • Manage projects, interact with clients, and prepare technical and fee proposals within the designated engineering practice. Develop scopes and budgets, conduct engineering studies, and prepare technical reports for various high-profile projects. Assist the engineering practice leader with project budgets and technical deliverables, conduct QA/QC reviews, and contribute to marketing and business development efforts.
  • Possess supervisory skills to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct large or significant projects, or manage the entire engineering program of limited scope. Serve as a specialist applying advanced theories and principles, staying abreast of new developments, and assisting in proposals and negotiations.
  • Demonstrate good communication, supervisory, and mentoring skills. Be reliable, attentive to detail and accuracy. Hold a valid driver's license for travel to project sites, meetings, and business expansion activities.
  • Have recent business development and project management experience (past 2-4 years). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • PE License preferred.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's preferred.
  • 7-12 years of professional experience.
  • Professional certification preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug screening required; background and motor vehicle checks may be conducted.
Performance Expectations
  • Complete annual training and mentor staff.
  • Develop backup personnel, build client relationships, and ensure project and safety compliance.
  • Manage work routines, meet budgets, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Participate in meetings, review project performance, and prepare reports and proposals.
  • Operate within budget parameters and oversee technical and staff oversight.
