Project Manager- Water/Wastewater

Department: West North-Water Services

Reporting To: Tim Hasler

Compensation: $90,000 - $165,000 / year

Description

Collaborate with peers and leaders to make a positive societal impact through impactful projects for our clients and communities.

We are seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to manage studies and designs for water resources projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide foundational experience as a project engineer producing final design products and study analyses
  • Lead and develop a team of water resource professionals and support staff
  • Manage project delivery, ensuring client needs and expectations are met
  • Perform water resources assessments
  • Analyze and interpret water and environmental resources data
  • Develop and review models (e.g., hydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic, physical habitat)
  • Prepare and present proposals and marketing strategies
  • Participate actively in relevant professional organizations

Good industry references are preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE Registration in California or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • 6+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Outgoing, entrepreneurial spirit encouraged within a self-motivated culture
  • Experience in wastewater collection design and master planning (desired)
  • Experience in stormwater system design and master planning (desired)
  • Experience in flood control, dam/reservoir, irrigation facility studies and designs (desired)
