Job summary

City Light & Power, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and complete complex projects at Hill Air Force Base, UT.

You will manage deadlines, budgets, scope, and client relationships while collaborating with engineering and procurement teams to deliver high‑reliability power distribution upgrades. The role demands 5–7 years of PM experience in construction or utilities, a related bachelor’s degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Five to seven (5-7) years of project management experience required (construction or utility experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Understand blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to view time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• As a Team Player, able to work well with various partners from start to finish.
• Must have ability to obtain security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project team personnel and resources.
• Enhance and maintain relationships with clients, engineering personnel, and consultants.
• Compile reports regarding financial performance of the project.
• Oversee cost control and change management systems.
• Attend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and pre-award.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plans with Project Superintendent.
• Prepare trade contracts and bid packages with assistance from Estimating Team.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with CLP goals and client needs.
• Oversee procurement process with Purchasing Department.
• Track and balance resources across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Set-up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections.
• Work closely with Safety Director to communicate and enforce corporate Safety Program.
• Other duties as assigned.
