Job summary

GreenArrow is seeking a Specialized Transportation Project Manager to orchestrate oversized load projects, permits, and heavy haul logistics from planning through execution. You will coordinate field personnel, partners, dispatch, and scheduling while prioritizing safety and proactive communication with clients.

In this role you will build strong customer relationships, anticipate risks, and lead teams in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in specialized transportation, heavy haul, oversized loads, super-loads, or permitted transportation operations.
• Experience coordinating transportation logistics, dispatch operations, or transportation projects.
• Strong working knowledge of DOT transportation regulations and permitting requirements.
• Experience managing customer relationships within transportation, logistics, infrastructure, or industrial industries.
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively in fast-paced operational environments.

What You’ll Do

Lead Specialized Transportation Operations

• Manage oversized, super-load, high-load, and permitted transportation projects from planning through execution
• Coordinate field personnel, transportation partners, dispatch operations, and operational logistics
• Support route planning, permitting coordination, and operational scheduling
• Monitor operational risks, project scope changes, and transportation requirements across active projects

Build Strong Customer Relationships

• Serve as a key point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop long-term relationships by understanding customer operations and transportation needs
• Collaborate with customers to develop solutions for complex transportation challenges
• Represent GreenArrow professionally in highly visible operational environments

Lead Teams & Drive Execution

• Coordinate communication between operations, field teams, transportation partners, and leadership
• Support a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
• Assist with real-time problem-solving and decision-making during active transportation projects
• Help support operational growth and business development initiatives

What You Bring

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in specialized transportation, heavy haul, oversized loads, super-loads, or permitted transportation operations
• Experience coordinating transportation logistics, dispatch operations, or transportation projects
• Strong working knowledge of DOT transportation regulations and permitting requirements
• Experience managing customer relationships within transportation, logistics, infrastructure, or industrial industries
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively in fast-paced operational environments

Preferred Experience

• Heavy haul carrier or specialized transportation dispatch experience
• Logistics brokerage or freight coordination background
• Utility, infrastructure, or industrial transportation project experience
• Experience transporting transformers, generators, turbines, data center components, or industrial equipment
• Rail, barge, or port logistics coordination experience
