Job summary

Wenger Corporation in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through planning, design, manufacturing, and installation of complex machinery and systems. You will drive budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects meet objectives on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent PM experience, with 3+ years in manufacturing or machinery installation, and familiarity with engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent Project Management experience in manufacturing or machinery installation.
• 3 years of Project Management experience in manufacturing, machinery installation, or related technical environments.
• Familiarity with engineering principals and codes governing machinery and structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management activities including organization, budgeting, scheduling, and purchasing to guide projects through planning, design, manufacturing, and installation (travel as required).
• Interact professionally with designers, engineers, production personnel, contractors, and customers involved with the projects.
• Interpret specifications and drawings to ensure complete, functional, and safe mechanical designs.
• Manage multiple project schedules and ensure contractual conditions are met.
• Prepare RFI’s and Change Orders; coordinate subcontracts and vendor efforts.
