Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Role Summary

Our Project Engineers contribute by creating structural and mechanical designs that meet technical requirements, cost, and schedule criteria for our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Project design and development experience working in a team environment
• Ability to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings/blueprints
• Experience with design and modeling in CAD

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Project Management techniques and tools; Engineering data management system experience
• Manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly experience
• Familiarity with 2D layout in AutoCAD and exposure to BIM workflow in Revit or Navisworks

Typical Day – Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop drawings with calculated dimensions, tolerances, and materials per company standards.
• Perform 3D solids modeling as required.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to identify and resolve complex technical problems and ensure timely project execution.
• Assist in stress, strength, weight distribution, center-of-gravity calculations.
• Develop and maintain clear project definitions and scope through design, manufacturing, and implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date files, records, and schedules of drafting and engineering documentation.
• Act as the project point person, supporting Manufacturing, Sales, and other departments in interpreting drawings and documents.
