Bowman Steel Fabrication and Erection in Bristow, VA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with internal teams, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in steel construction, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and the ability to read drawings and manage

Competenze

• 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection, project sequencing, and construction coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
• Experience managing budgets, job costs, billing, forecasting, and change orders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, field teams, and leadership.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel based on project needs and a valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Mansioni

• Manage structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from award through completion.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, procurement, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, detailers, estimators, fabricators, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Monitor progress and identify risks, delays, or cost impacts early.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal leadership.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope requirements for alignment.
• Track material deliveries, fabrication timelines, and installation sequencing.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost reports, billing support, and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates on schedule and financial status.
• Support field operations by resolving issues related to labor, materials, scheduling.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained.
• Promote a safety-first culture and compliance with site requirements.
• Build and maintain professional relationships reflecting the company values.
