Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Project Manager - Steel for a direct-hire opportunity in Detroit, Michigan. This in-office role will manage structural steel projects ranging from $500K to $400M, emphasizing safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.

Responsibilities include overseeing contracts, payments, site safety plans, and mentoring project staff, with travel up to one year domestically.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of project management experience or 5 years of construction industry experience in steel fabrication or steel erection.
• Experience managing projects using multiple delivery methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Oracle Primavera, Tekla, and SDS2.
• Willingness to perform domestic travel for up to one year.
