Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group is seeking a Steel Project Manager for our Detroit, MI project portfolio. The role focuses on leading steel fabrication and erection activities, managing budgets, schedules, and safety compliance to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in steel construction, experience with multiple delivery methods up to $400M, and proficiency with PM tools such as Primavera, Tekla, and SDS2. Base salary ranges up to $120k plus benefits.

Qualifications

3+ years of project management experience or 5+ years in construction related to steel fabrication or erection.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety, quality, schedule, profitability, and customer satisfaction on projects
Oversee safety plans and site safety requirements
Write and manage contracts with customers, subcontractors, and design professionals
Manage monthly payment applications and project billing
Control project costs, budgets, and profitability
Supervise project staff and coordinate field operations
Maintain relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Monitor steel projects to meet schedule and budget
Manage schedules, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and docs
Coordinate steel fabrication and erection activities throughout lifecycle
Lead investigations and corrective actions
