Job summary

Insight is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee delivery across client engagements, applying waterfall, hybrid, and agile methods. You will guide project lifecycle from inception to close, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior managers.

The role emphasizes strategic direction, risk mitigation, and driving PM capability improvements, with opportunities for business development and growth within Insight Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years IT services or professional services experience.
• Experience with hybrid methodologies and Agile delivery.
• PMP or Agile certification.
• Track record of success guiding and leading project teams to success.

Responsibilities

• Manage project and program teams to deliver highly visibly strategic solutions for our clients using waterfall, hybrid, and agile methodologies.
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation through close-out and transition.
• Help define and drive strategic direction of both Insight and our clients.
• Build key relationships with clients and leaders.
• Mitigate risk and proactively work project issues.
• Drive tangible and sustainable improvement in PM capabilities.
• Assist with business development activities to grow Insight Services business.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers.

About the role

The Project ManagerSr(PM)is responsible formanaging,directingand overseeing thedeliveryofassigned projects and programs.The PM provides visible leadership,accountabilityand authority over high profile projects and programs delivered to Insight clients. The PM works independently andexhibitsa high degree of initiative in resolving problemsencounteredand developing recommended solutions.The PM must be flexiblein deliveringprojects with different methodologies based on client and team needs. Job responsibilities include:

What you’ll need to join Insight

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
• 7years’related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the IT services, ITOperationsor professional services industry.
• Experience with hybrid methodologies and agile deliveryof technicalprojects.
• PMPor Agile certification.
• Track recordof success guiding and leading project teams to success.
• Skillsin all aspects of project management lifecycle and critical processes:

• Mustbe passionate about continuous improvement.
• Must be able to manage technical resources working on multiple projects seamlessly.

The base salary range for this position is typically $110,000 to $130,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
