Control Air, a leading Southern California mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Service Division. You will oversee planning, execution, and financial performance of service projects, coordinating with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Travel to project sites in Orange County and Los Angeles is required.

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experiencedProject Managerto join our growing Service Division. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong client relationships, and is passionate about delivering successful projects from start to finish. This position require travel to project sites including Orange County and Los Angeles.
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and financial performance of service-related projects. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Manage manpower planning and resource allocation for service projects.
Conduct site walks and evaluate project requirements at customer locations.
Partner with Account Support teams to develop project scopes, labor estimates, and pricing for proposals.
Develop and maintain detailed Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for project execution.
Oversee project documentation, including:
Schedules
Change orders
Project start-up and close-out packages
Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
Warranty documentation
Manage subcontractor relationships, contracts, and scope execution.
Perform jobsite audits, quality control inspections, and other project-specific responsibilities as required.
Collaborate with Account Executives, Technicians, Clients, and Service Operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Coordinate with other Control Air divisions, including:
Major Construction
Controls
Insulation Technologies
Retrofit
Plumbing
Other specialty groups
Monitor project financial performance, including profitability, forecasting, and execution metrics.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing service accounts.
Utilize and become proficient in company software systems and operational platforms.
Lead project meetings with professionalism, clarity, and effective communication.
Maintain and strengthen customer satisfaction while upholding Control Air’s reputation for excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Project management experience within the mechanical, HVAC, construction, service, or related industry preferred.
Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation processes.
Ability to read and interpret project specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience managing subcontractors, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Salary Range:$80,000 – $110,000 annually
