• Background with self-perform concrete operations; GC self-perform division acceptable.

Job description

Salary: up to $140,000 plus truck/car allowance

Location: Fredericksburg, VA - with travel toDC metro office 1-2 times per month.

About the opportunity

We are representing a national self-perform concrete contractor with a rapidly growing Mid-Atlantic business unit. The region is doubling its revenue and this is an addition to the team rather than a replacement.

This is trade-side, not general contracting. You would be managing the concrete package on large mission critical and data center builds, with your own field organization delivering the work.

The role

You will run the project execution process on your assigned data center work - planning it, resourcing it, tracking it and owning the commercial outcome.

• Own the project plan, programme and financial performance on your projects
• Work with the field leadership team to plan and sequence the concrete scope
• Manage cost reporting, forecasting, change orders, procurement and billing
• Run the weekly planning cycle with the field and project teams
• Act as the main point of contact for the GC or CM and the client
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and materials to hit production targets
• Maintain safety and quality standards across your work

Requirements

• Data center or mission critical construction experience. This is essential and applications without it will not be considered
• Concrete construction background - foundations, mat slabs, slab on grade, walls, elevated decks and structural work
• Experience managing project financials - budgets, forecasting, change orders and cost reporting
• Ideally from a self-perform concrete contractor. Candidates from a general contractor's self-perform concrete division will also be considered
• Comfortable working on large scale sites with multiple concurrent work areas
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
