Job summary

International Erosion Control Association is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Central Texas, focusing on commercial concrete self-perform projects across data centers, manufacturing, warehouses, and large-scale developments.

You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with operations, superintendents, clients, and trade partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top-quality results.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial concrete construction.
  • Experience managing self-perform concrete scopes on projects valued from $10M to $100M+.
  • Strong understanding of concrete operations, scheduling, cost tracking, and project controls.
  • Experience with foundations, slabs, elevated decks, structural concrete, and reinforced concrete systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, schedules, and specifications.
  • Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar software proficiency.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proven success managing budgets, schedules, field teams, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage concrete construction projects from contract award through final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate field operations, self-perform crews, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee structural concrete, foundations, elevated slabs, site concrete, and tilt-up operations.
  • Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor costs, labor productivity, production rates, and overall performance.
  • Lead owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor meetings, maintaining client relationships.
  • Support procurement, buyout, contract administration, and material purchasing.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Ensure safety, on-schedule delivery, budget adherence, and high quality.

Project Manager - Commercial Concrete-Austin / Central Texas

Our client, a leading commercial concrete contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth across the Central Texas market. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected industry leader delivering complex self-perform concrete projects for data centers, distribution facilities, manufacturing plants, warehouses, commercial developments, and other large-scale structures.

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while partnering closely with operations teams, superintendents, clients, and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Manage concrete construction projects from contract award through final completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Coordinate field operations, superintendents, self-perform crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Oversee structural concrete, foundations, elevated slabs, site concrete, and tilt-up/tilt-wall operations
  • Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs, labor productivity, production rates, and overall project performance
  • Lead owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor meetings while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Support procurement, buyout, contract administration, and material purchasing activities
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and operational improvements
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
