Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. in Broomfield, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Seating Production to coordinate and drive industrialization activities for a new seat program.

You will manage schedule, cost, quality and scope, and act as the primary interface with Pilatus Switzerland for program activities. You will lead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality, support APQP and Lean initiatives, and help establish governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of project management experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Experience in industrialization and production ramp-up.
• Knowledge of APQP, Lean, and Value Stream Mapping principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• U.S. export controls compliance may be required.

Pilatus is hiring a Project Manager for our Seating Production. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and driving local industrialization activities for the new seat program at Pilatus Aircraft USA in alignment with the Global Project Leader. Support program objectives related to schedule, cost, quality and scope. Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of program readiness, ensure transparency regarding project progress, risks, issues and action items. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and track project plans, milestones, risks, action items, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management.
• Organize and facilitate project status meetings and ensure timely follow-up of agreed actions.
• Support the implementation of production and industrialization processes for future serial production.
• Act as the primary interface between PilUSA and Pilatus Switzerland regarding new seat program activities.
• Support knowledge transfer, process alignment, and best-practice sharing between Switzerland and the USA.
• Contribute to APQP, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Prepare project reports, management updates, and decision-making documents.
• Support the establishment of project management standards, governance processes, and reporting structures at PilUSA

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and sustainment of APQP deliverables, Value Stream Mapping activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Assist in resource and capacity planning activities.
• Facilitate workshops, lessons learned sessions, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support future industrialization, ramp-up, and site development projects.

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in project management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in industrialization, production ramp-up, manufacturing engineering, or operations.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of APQP, Lean Manufacturing, and Value Stream Mapping principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• This position involves access to technology that is subject to U.S. export controls. Any job offer made will be contingent upon the applicant's capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls.

The hiring range is $82,000 - $86,000 per year. This range represents Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd.'s estimate of the compensation reasonably expected for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant skills and experience, education, job location, internal equity, market data, and business considerations. The hiring range may be modified in the future based on business or market conditions. Any bonus, incentive compensation, benefits, or other forms of compensation are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans, programs, and policies and may be modified in accordance with applicable law.
