The Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) isthePremierVertical Lift military program in the world. Bell's FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities. The FLRAA program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage infuture conflicts. The Bell FLRAA teamseeksthe top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world’s next-generation military aircraft.

This is an onsite position at Bell working at both our Headquarters location in Fort Worth, TX location and will support onsite testing at the FLRAA System Integration Laboratory in Arlington, Texas. The Project Engineer at Bell will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule and cost for multiple engineering efforts. This position will oversee the successful execution of project deliverables by understanding project requirements, building and maintaining the project Integrated Master Schedules, Azure DevOps, managing cost and schedule performance (Earned Value Management System) and supporting a multi-disciplined team through the complete development lifecycle for product introduction.

What you’ll be doing as a Project Manager, FLRAA Testing Integration Team
  • Responsible for program scope execution and final product delivery.
  • Oversee the on‑time delivery of high‑quality contract deliverables for all program requirements.
  • Oversee program efforts through the entire lifecycle of product development including managing cost, schedule and program milestone achievement.
  • Develop program‑level metrics and supporting databases to provide progress/status for development, build, sustainment, and project planning.
  • Develop manpower and budget forecasts for the program management.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development of future capability product roadmaps and incremental project features to align with customer needs.
Skills You Bring To This Role
  • Scrum experience with running daily standups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, story grooming, and tracking/metrics epic, feature, and story status.
  • Capability to plan and execute internal and external design reviews as well as other technical meetings.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple support functions (engineering – all disciplines, finance, contracts, etc.), customers and suppliers.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks while maintaining flexibility through the fast paced, evolving environment.
  • We are seeking inquisitive and driven engineers that communicate effectively with passion to innovate.
What you need to be successful
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a major in Aerospace, Mechanical or other related disciplines. Advanced degrees in relevant engineering disciplines or related areas of focus will be considered as additional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or project management. Position levels vary depending on years of experience.
  • Previous project execution responsibilities including cost and schedule management.
  • Earned Value Management experience is required.
  • Ability to gain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security.
