Job summary

Jobot in Denver, Colorado is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead heavy civil and site development projects, overseeing scheduling, budgeting, RFI/submittal processes, and financial reporting. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in civil construction project management and a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering (or equivalent experience).

Job Details

Top Skills/Qualifications

• Heavy civil, self-perform construction - roadway, site work, underground, erosion control
• Experience with Water Control, River Restoration, Dewatering Drainageway Restoration/Repair a plus
• Schedule Management, Budgeting, RFI's, Submittals, Financial Reporting

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of conversion factors and unit weights of all related construction materials commonly utilized in the industry (various aggregates, soils, concrete, asphalt, rip rap, rebar, pipe, etc.)
• Ability to prepare/price water control, diversion and dewatering plans
• Computer estimating skills, including Bid2Win Software (comparable to HCSS Heavy Bid), Bluebeam, and AGTEK
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Project
• Ability to effectively apply estimating techniques and cost controls, and to interpret computerized cost data and systems
• Knowledge of private, City, County, Denver Water, MHFD, SEMSWA, CDOT, State Parks, USFS, Army Corp of Engineer s, Division of Dams and Airport specifications, with a proven track record of bringing in contracts on time and within budget

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
