Job description

Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is one of New England's largest family-owned K&B businesses, focusing on providing high quality and value to customers. The Project Manager role is part of our Construction team, partnering with designers to realize customers' visions for kitchens and baths.

We pride ourselves on the value and expertise we offer in design, full remodel, and installation services. If you are an experienced Project Manager with hands-on remodeling experience and pride in completed projects, we would like to meet you.

The Project Manager will oversee the installation or remodeling process, managing subcontractors, internal crews, and customer relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact between trades, customers, designers, and internal departments.
  • Oversee installation crews, including site visits and resolving field condition challenges.
  • Regularly update customers, subcontractors, installers, and sales teams on project progress.
  • Coordinate scheduling of installations with Project Coordinators, customers, salespeople, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure proper permitting for contracted work.
  • Arrange material deliveries with the shipping department.
  • Coordinate payments for materials and labor.
  • Follow up on punch lists promptly and instruct crews to complete open items.
  • Order necessary materials and schedule labor as needed.
  • Provide professional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate take-offs.
  • Manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and techniques.
  • Highly organized with good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry software (BuilderTrend, Bistrack).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • 7+ years of remodel project management experience, preferably in cabinetry or construction.
  • 5+ years of direct supervision of carpenters.
  • Vocational or higher education preferred.
  • Hands-on construction experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to use tools on-site.
  • Sit for extended periods.
  • Work in various conditions: office, warehouse, job site, outdoors.
  • Walk distances over 200 yards.
  • May be exposed to heavy equipment and moving mechanical parts.
  • Valid driver’s license required for site travel.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 annually
