KAMINSKIY DESIGN & REMODELING is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead residential remodeling projects in the San Diego area. You will oversee design, bidding, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
You must have 10+ years in custom residential remodeling, 5+ years supervising, and strong knowledge of building codes.
Our projects range from kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole home remodels, additions, and ADUs.
We are looking for a highly experienced and passionate Project Manager. You must love what you do and take pride in your work. You must be a team player and have a positive and professional attitude and demeanor.
Our Project Managers/Superintendents/Lead Carpenters manage our projects as well as perform some of the work on a typical remodeling project.
Participate in design and bid process – Attend meetings with the designer and home owners, view existing conditions of new projects, consult with design team on proposed designs, meet with subcontractors and gather bids, consult with architect and/or engineer, review scope of work, participate in estimating.
Manage projects in construction – Meet with and communicate to subcontractors scope of work and expectations, supervise and monitor subcontractors as well as in-house technicians, check quality (level, plumb, square, etc.) throughout the project, meet with city/county inspectors, maintain a clean and safe job site, think ahead and problem solve.
Manage clients - plan and schedule project from start to finish, keep clients and co-workers informed of schedule, communicate with clients daily and meet in person at least once a week, inform clients of upcoming payments and collect payments when due, maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients.
Administrative – Keep BuilderTrend updated daily with schedule changes, daily logs, to-dos, etc. Review subcontractor bids, write change orders, order building materials, schedule on-site meetings with designer, keep project on time and on budget.
Belt-on duties – Each project will have its own unique needs. Some projects you won’t have any hands‑on duties and others you will do a good portion of the work yourself. Must have the experience, skills, and knowledge to remodel a kitchen or bath from start to finish. Framing, plumbing, electrical, and finish carpentry is a must. A PM at our company can’t think himself too good to pick up a shovel or a broom as well.
This is a full-time salaried position. Our project managers typically put in 50 to 60 hours a week. Annual Salary will range from $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience. Semi Annual Bonuses based on project performance and profitability. Most project managers earn $20k - $50k in bonuses each year depending on how many projects they can run and how quickly and successfully they complete those projects.
