Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Proven experience and results in managing intermediate to large-scale projects, using established methodologies. Solid knowledge of project management techniques.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, communication strategies, schedules, role definitions, and risk management plans.
• Proficiency in standard project management software and applications; quick learner and capable of instructing others.
• Problem identification and anticipation skills, with the ability to propose solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Ability to consult with senior project management staff and follow established procedures. Projects may have cross-functional impact and team organization.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; at least one PM course required.

Required Experience

2-4 years in business, engineering, or related fields; degree may be substituted with relevant experience.

Preferred Education

Additional formal training in project management is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt desirable.
