Job summary

Bright Minds in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electronic security and building systems projects in the Albany market. You’ll bring hands-on access control expertise and manage projects from kickoff to completion, coordinating customers and field teams.

You’ll oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, materials, subcontractors and documentation to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Project Manager (Electronic Security / Access Control / Building Systems)

Location: Albany, NY

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 + Benefits

Bright Minds is searching for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of electronic security and building systems projects in the Albany market. This position requires hands-on technical access control experience and is ideal for someone who understands the field side of security systems while also having experience managing projects and customers. Candidates must be willing to work in the field as needed.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects from award through completion, managing schedules, budgets, procurement, materials, subcontractors, field teams, and project documentation. You’ll work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule, meet technical requirements, and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. You’ll also monitor project costs and financial performance. The company is willing to provide additional training on the financial side of project management but is looking for someone with some existing budgeting, cost-control, or project financial experience.

• PMI/PMP or other relevant project or industry certifications
• College degree, trade school education, or equivalent industry experience
