Overview

The HR Project Manager leads complex, cross functional initiatives that modernize and scale the HR function. Different areas of responsibility can include leading technical execution of M&A HR Workstreams covering preclose diligence, Day1 readiness, HRIS/payroll/time systems integration, data conversion, and regulatory compliance, or supporting advancement in HR operating model, processes, analytics, and employee experience. The Project Manager orchestrates multidisciplinary teams, manages dependencies and risks, and delivers measurable outcomes aligned to enterprise priorities.

Major Responsibilities

• Leads end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of HR projects
• Supports team to define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Develops and maintains detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Monitors project health and helps adjust plans to address changing priorities
• Supports organizational change management for HR initiatives to ensure awareness, adoption, and engagement
• Partners closely with HR leaders, Centers of Excellence (COEs), cross-functional teams and external partners
• Tracks and reports on project progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience

• 5 years of project management or human resources experience
• 3 years of experience leading cross-functional projects
• Demonstrated success delivering projects with cross‑functional teams.

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills necessary to interact with staff at all levels of the organization and candidates

Preferred Job Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Business, HR, or a related discipline
• Certification / License: PHR / SPHR
• Certification / License: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate
• Certification / License: Agile/Scrum Experience
• Certification / License: Experience in M&A integration, from either the HR or business development functions
• Work Experience: Experience implementing new HR processes and programs as either a process owner or project manager
• Work Experience: Experience working as a project manager in a multi-national HR organization
• Work Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud HCM (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle HCM, etc.)
• Work Experience: HR Systems implementation experience, esp. end-to-end HCM cloud products

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Familiarity with Prosci or equivalent change management methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled HR tools – such as talent analytics or automation platforms – to enhance workforce planning and operational efficiency
