Information Technology Operations Manager

Location: Fully remote with 3 times a month travel to Idaho (Mountain Time)

Brooksource is seeking an IT Maintenance and Operations Manager to support the turnover from implementation to maintenance and operations of a new Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that system maintenance and operations run smoothly in a new modernized workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the turnover from implementation to maintenance and operations.
• Ensure the integration of systems and processes within the SI Hub.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and MMIS Module Vendors to facilitate successful integration testing outcomes.
• Manage the migration from legacy components to modernized systems.
• Monitor and improve system performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state Medicaid maintenance and operations processes.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure system integrity.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance and operations team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in systems integration.
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and database management.
• Experience working in IT, preferably with management duties.
• Familiarity with state Medicaid maintenance and operations processes and expectations.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with state Medicaid maintenance and operations processes.
• Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, PMP).
