Project Manager - National Control Center

*3 Years project management experience - Maintenance and Fleet

*Telecom construction PM or CM experience preferred

*This is a fully remote position

Responsibilities

The Project Manager assumes a leadership role and provides guidance to project staff in the development and analysis of complex schedules on large and design-build projects. You will:

• Triage tickets and dispatch technicians.
• Assist during national disaster recovery.
• Process optimization and efficiency improvements based on data-driven decision making.
• Lead and promote the MasTec safety culture on site, ensuring safety standards are met or exceeded, and develop Site Safety Specific Procedures.
• Proficient in Smartsheet preferred.
• Create and maintain project schedules and update stakeholders weekly.
• Collaborate with leadership on vendor selection, procurement, and negotiations.
• Manage change management processes.
• Lead internal and external project teams to ensure on-budget and on-schedule delivery.
• Report and communicate daily with customers and management.
• Build processes and teams to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers on tasks needed for project completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

About You:

• 3+ years of Project Management experience
• Strong Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables, REQUIRED
• Ticket triage and vendor dispatch or fleet experience
• Track record of high-quality work
• Problem-solving skills and hands-on approach
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of construction project experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Intermediate schedule management experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints accurately
• Effective at communicating progress and issues to leadership
• Quiet, dedicated remote workspace with reliable internet
• Self-driven
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
