Job summary

gpac is seeking a Project Manager in Wisconsin to lead commercial and municipal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring budget, schedule, safety, and client satisfaction. The role emphasizes self-perform capabilities and collaboration with field crews and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in commercial/municipal settings, strong scheduling and budgeting skills, and proficiency with CM software and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing commercial and municipal projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Experience working with self-perform construction operations is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of project management from award through completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities.
  • Coordinate with field leadership, self-perform crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and change management.
  • Facilitate owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor communications.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Mentor and support project engineers and other team members.
  • Participate in project planning and preconstruction efforts.
