Job summary

Forge Strategies in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects in the Greater Milwaukee area, including healthcare, industrial and large commercial work.

You will drive preconstruction to closeout, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams, and ensure safety and on-time delivery. This employee-owned firm offers long-term growth and a stable backlog.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PM experience in HVAC/MEP or mechanical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, or large commercial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and construction finances.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

Project Manager – Mechanical Construction

A growing mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical construction projects throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.

• Strong understanding of construction logistics, job costing, project financials, and scheduling
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, or similar platforms
• Up to $150,000 based on experience
