Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced multifamily project manager in Philadelphia to lead ground-up and renovation residential projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality communities on time and on budget.

We value 5+ years of commercial construction PM experience, a strong background in multifamily or large-scale residential work, and a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Strong preference for multifamily, mixed-use, or large-scale residential construction.
  • Philadelphia market experience preferred, with scheduling, budgeting, and documentation expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through completion and turnover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, change orders, and payment applications.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to maintain project schedules and resolve issues.
  • Lead owner, architect, subcontractor, and project coordination meetings.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, documentation, and project controls.
  • Monitor project costs and identify potential budget or schedule impacts early.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project closeout, punch list, and turnover.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers as the team grows.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through completion and turnover
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Strong preference for experience managing multifamily, mixed-use, or large-scale residential construction
  • Experience managing projects in the Philadelphia market is preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and project documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with both field and office teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
