About Our Client
Our client is a leading general contractor with over 20 years of industry experience and a diverse commercial portfolio. Their projects include sectors such as Retail, Medical Office Buildings (MOB), Light Industrial, Government, Office, Quick-Service Restaurants (QSR), and Religious builds.
Job Description
- Oversee project administration, leadership, and technical direction of ground-up projects
- Manage bid requests, review bids, and develop subcontracts
- Lead estimating and take-offs
- Handle project buyout within designated timeframes
- Review project submittals for conformance to contract documents
- Manage all RFIs and submittals
- Develop and maintain site logistics plans
- Manage special inspection schedules
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and municipalities to ensure plans meet owner specifications and are value-engineered
- Manage project schedules, including preparation of short-term schedules to ensure activities stay on or ahead of schedule
- Review daily reports and safety inspections from onsite superintendents
- Organize, attend, and lead project meetings, including subcontractor meetings covering pre-construction, scope, scheduling, and safety
- Build relationships with key vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and municipal codes and requirements
The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Experience in mixed commercial construction preferred
- Project experience in Retail, MOB, Light Industrial, Government, Office, QSR, and Religious builds preferred
- Estimating experience required
- Ground-up project experience preferred
- Technical degree in construction or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Stable work record
- Knowledge of Construction Management or related fields
What's on Offer
Base salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 plus competitive benefits. The compensation package is negotiable based on experience.
