Job summary

ETAP is seeking an execution-driven Project Manager to lead real-time microgrid and power automation control system projects across the Americas. You will own projects end to end, coordinating data centers, industrial sites, and energy management installations from design through energization and acceptance.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in power systems or data-center projects, strong stakeholder management, and willingness to travel for multi-week commissioning across the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering power systems, automation, or industrial control projects.
• Recent and continuous field delivery experience within the last five years.
• Ownership of scope, schedule, budget and contract, not just tracking.
• Working knowledge of power system control and telecontrol — SCADA, EPMS, RTUs, protective relays, IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus.
• Experience progressing projects through commissioning, energization and acceptance in live electrical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of microgrid, power plant control, generation dispatch and energy management projects, with data center microgrid focus.
• Own full project execution from design through factory testing, installation, commissioning and final acceptance.
• Re-establish scope baseline on ongoing projects and set schedule, milestones and acceptance criteria.
• Procure equipment against the BOM and manage lead times for factory acceptance testing.
• Oversee commissioning program: review test sequences, resources and durations for feasibility before commitment.
• Manage utility interconnection Gate with submittals, iterations and witness testing.
• Run project meetings: internal reviews, client status, vendor coordination, escalation resolution.
• Interface with data center and industrial owners, commissioning agents, GC and utility reps.
• Drive risk and change management, document and price scope changes.
• Deliver repeatable execution templates and test libraries for multi-project delivery.
