Danieli Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the NSWV slab caster maintenance contract, coordinating the NSWV site team, Ashland workshop, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost‑effective, high‑quality execution of maintenance, refurbishment and spare parts activities.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with 3–5 years of experience in mechanical equipment, strong Excel and Project skills, ERP familiarity, and a willingness to travel up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience with mechanical equipment, especially slab caster components.
• Experience coordinating workshop repairs, suppliers, and site teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and Project; ERP experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50% to Danieli facilities and customer sites.

Responsabilités

• Manage all NSWV slab caster maintenance contract activities per contract, schedules, budget and quality standards.
• Analyze, open, and process jobs in Danieli Service Management Procedures.
• Manage orders and job execution within the ERP system.
• Track contract milestones, deliverables, and ongoing activities.
• Coordinate with NSWV site team for operational needs and maintenance planning.
• Coordinate with Site Manager for critical issues and inbound roll assemblies.
• Track refurbishment jobs and ensure transparency and control.
• Perform regular stock checks for contractual spares and coordinate stocking.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and site teams for copper mould repair and plating.
• Support sourcing, repair planning, and supplier follow-ups.
• Monitor inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in internal meetings and coordinate with Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Finance.
• Prepare progress reports and contract closing reports.
