Job summary

Danieli Corporation seeks a Project Manager to lead NSWV slab caster maintenance contracts in Morgantown, WV. You will coordinate between site teams, Ashland workshop, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, cost-effective maintenance and spare parts activities.

This role requires 3–5 years of mechanical experience, proficiency in Excel and MS Project, ERP familiarity, and travel of at least 50% to Danieli facilities and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience with mechanical equipment, especially slab caster components.
• Experience coordinating workshop repairs, suppliers, and site teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project (ERP experience preferred).
• Willingness to travel at least 50% to Danieli facilities and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities related to NSWV slab caster maintenance contract, ensuring compliance with schedules, budget and quality.
• Coordinate with NSWV site team, Ashland workshop, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee inbound roll assemblies and refurbishment/repairs with workshop planning and purchasing.
• Track milestones, deliverables and ongoing activities for the contract.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare progress and closing reports.
• Support inventory management and periodic audits of contractual spares.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Logistics, Sales, Shipping and Finance to ensure smooth execution.
