Job summary

Atlantach is seeking a Project Manager (MEP) to join our team in Santa Clara to support the General Contractor in delivering a semiconductor test fab comprising a small fabrication facility and Critical Utilities Building. This is a long-term project approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience in Construction Management/Engineering.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with MEP, CSA interfaces and safety/quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP packages from design coordination through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, process and critical utility systems with CSA activities.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, procurement, programme, quality and site performance.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs and design changes.
• Drive constructability reviews, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Monitor installation progress against milestones and look-ahead schedules.
• Oversee interfaces between equipment, utilities, cleanrooms and building systems.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with design, safety, quality and semiconductor requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, system turnover and commissioning readiness.
• Oversee snagging, turnover docs and final handover.
• Provide progress, cost, risk and performance reporting to project leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage MEP packages from design coordination through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, process and critical utility systems with CSA activities.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, procurement, programme, quality and site performance.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submittals, RFIs and design changes.
• Drive constructability reviews, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.

• You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
• Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or similar or 8 years of equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Proven experience managing mechanical, electrical and critical utility installations.
• Semiconductor, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing or mission-critical project experience.
• Experience supporting or working for a General Contractor is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of clean utilities, HVAC, electrical distribution and building control systems.
• Strong knowledge of MEP construction sequencing and CSA interfaces.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules, change control and project risks.
• Understanding of testing, commissioning, system turnover and handover processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe, high-quality and programme-driven delivery.
