Job summary

Atlantach Technical Services is seeking a skilled MEP QA/QC Engineer to join our USA teams on large data center projects. You will implement QA/QC plans for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and ELV, and verify installations meet project standards.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in QA/QC for MEP and data center projects, plus familiarity with NEC/NFPA/IEC/ASME and IST testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in MEP and data center projects.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEC, ASME and ISO standards; IST testing.
• Strong coordination, reporting and communication skills.
• QA/QC or ISO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC plans for MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV).
• Ensure installations comply with project specifications, IFC drawings, codes, and data center standards.
• Conduct inspections, witness tests, and verify ITPs, method statements, and checklists.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Manage inspection requests (IRs), NCRs, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and client/consultant teams.
• Verify installation readiness for testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Maintain QA/QC records, test reports, and as-built documentation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and project QA requirements.

We are seeking skilled MEP QAQC Engineers to join our teams across the USA supporting large scale data center projects

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
• Maintain all QAQC Documentation in line with client standards
• Responsible for MEP Systems and ensuring they meet QAQC requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in MEP works, including data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of data center standards
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEC, ASME).
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing (IST).
• Proficient in QA/QC documentation, NCR management, and audit processes.
• Strong coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
• QA/QC or ISO certification preferred (e.g., ISO 9001 Internal Auditor).
