Job summary

Beck & Pollitzer USA is seeking a Project Manager to oversee electrical and mechanical equipment installations across multiple job sites in the United States, including Spartanburg, SC. The role requires strong project management, budgeting, and contractor coordination skills, with travel to various sites as needed.

The position emphasizes safety, quality control, and efficient resource management, working closely with engineering and sales leaders to grow the business in the sector/region.

Qualifications

• Experience managing mechanical and electrical engineering projects, mainly installations of production equipment.
• Strong general experience in mechanical engineering.
• Strong commercial skills and project management skills, particularly: negotiating, planning, estimating, costing, quoting.
• Strong IT (MS Office) and numeracy skills.
• Experience managing a small team and controlling, organizing and motivating internal labor resources and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Plan, monitor, and report project progress; maintain records and documentation.
• Produce estimates to support change orders and cost control.
• Coordinate between client site personnel and internal managers; capture meeting minutes.
• Ensure safety, quality, and contract controls; manage non-conformance and punch-lists.
