You will manage jobsites, supervise a small team, and report progress to the Operations Manager while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing mechanical and electrical engineering projects, mainly installations of production equipment.
• Strong commercial and project management skills, including negotiating, planning, estimating, costing and quoting.
• Strong IT (MS Office) and numeracy skills.
• Experience managing a small team and coordinating internal labor resources and sub-contractors.
• Knowledge of current H&S legislation and risk management processes.
• Good financial skills including cost and budgetary controls and accounting.
• Project management qualification or training.
• Ability to secure a contractor's license(s) for the company.
• Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional levels.
• Able to explain technical concepts simply and succinctly.
• Solution oriented and able to work under pressure to deadlines.
• Able to build strong business relationships with clients.

Responsabilités

• Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Provide project management and general management support across engineering projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Sales Managers to grow the business in the region.
• Maintain safety, quality and company procedures on all sites.
• Produce site meetings minutes and liaise between client and operations manager.
• Manage contract performance, costs, and subcontractor coordination.
