Summary

Our client, a top mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager for our San Diego, CA location. With nearly a century of customer care and ownership, the company adheres to the highest safety standards and offers industry-leading BIM capabilities, design/build services, sustainable solutions, and complex mechanical and industrial system installations. The role involves leading mechanical construction projects safely, on time, and within budget across various markets including Healthcare, Life Science, Commercial, and Industrial.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for safety, field labor productivity, quality assurance, project financials, procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management. They must comply with all company policies and be available during working hours to oversee their team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5-7 years of construction experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Vista-Viewpoint, and Quotesoft Estimating Software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to interpret various instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic business mathematical functions.
• Must comply with all policies and procedures.
