Job description

gpac is partnered with a Mechanical Contractor that is looking to add a Traveling Project Manager to their team. The ideal Project Manager will have data center experience. However, it is not a prerequisite for the job. Employees can live anywhere within the continental US. Employees will be able to go home every 3rd weekend.

Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with the Project Executive to set up contracts/P.O.’s, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, project schedule.
2. Coordinate with the Estimator on the project budget, scope, potential issues such as critical items and/or hazards.
3. Confirm all quantities with Estimator.
4. Review returned subcontracts before signing.
5. Review plans and specifications with the field superintendent for layout, critical items, subcontractor scope, delivery, submittals, schedule, budget, testing reports, permits, daily logs, travel policy, meeting agendas, delays, change orders, etc.
